More details coming. Vinyl Don upstairs. Isa party…
These were taken around LA, The Sayers Club in Hollywood and recently Tokyo on the iPhone 7 Plus. Hope you dig.
I’m not sure why but for the most part of my daily errands I carry my camera or I phone in the ready position and ready to capture anything that might catch my eye. Below are a series of snapshots from Dallas, Watts, Venice and various dj gigs around town. All shots caught on my I phone 6 Plus or Nikon D90.
I have been neglecting most of my snapshots on here but I finally went out and took some new shots tonight. I also found a bunch of pics that were sitting inside on of my SD cards. These contain some fun moments in Joshua Tree, NYC and on some of my dj adventures around the US. Hope you dig! BTW – Follow me on instagram or in real time on snapchat: anthonyvaladez1.
It’s been fun rocking with Hiatus Kaiyote’s Socal tour dates at The Roxy and The Constellation Room in the OC. Both sold out shows were packed with fans who came out in full support. Big love to Low Leaf and Kadhja Bonnet. It’s always fun watching how crowds react to their artistry on stage. If you don’t have their new album, get it. Choose Your Weapon is out now! Also shout outs to Si, Scott + Marek!
Kamasi Washington is that dude I’ve seen around in the clubs playing with just about everyone in LA. Often quiet with a laugh here and there but the minute he touches the the sax he commands attention. After making noise on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album “To Pimp A Butterfly” and his forthcoming project “The Epic“, I wanted to talk to him and dig into his brain about this creative process. I also invited over my colleague and all around music nerd Jeremy Sole to co-host this episode.
