Just got the best news ever that a possible Fiona Apple album may drop next year. I’ve sat in the longest line ever to watch her perform at SXSW in 2012 (alongside a young kid by the name of James Blake) and would do it again. Here’s something to hold you tight til 2020. My infamous Fiona Apple mixtape!

Looking forward to joining the KCRW crew this year for SXSW and seeing new and emerging talent. My goal is to check out some of these folks listed below. Also make sure to check out the Tune In jump off on 6th Street! (Flyer below).
Toronto’s Maylee Todd returns to the podcast for Episode # 80 co-hosted by Novena Carmel. I should note that prior to hitting record, we stuffed our faces w/ pal Sophia Chang at The Line Hotel inside Pot. (Shout out Roy Choi, Jess + Natasha!). On the podcast we discuss woman’s personal issues, Mushrooms in Joshua Tree, SXSW, the influence of Bjork, porno theaters in the 6 and other madness. Lots of nonsense but full of laughs.
I am not mad at this! Even if the track is an XXYYXX beat that Ive loved and played over and over in the car or on radio. It’s still dope! I heard SZA do this one live at SXSW but it was a bonus to find Chance The Rapper drop a verse on this cut. I love this cut!
